POLLOK, TX (08/26/2016) — A wrong way accident left Robert Rich and Greta Hicks injured on Friday morning.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), 56-year-old Robert Rich and 56-year-old Greta Hicks both suffered injuries after a wrong way accident on Highway 69 near Rifle Road in Pollok, Texas.
The DPS stated that 60-year-old David Lynn Allen was traveling northbound in a 2002 Ford pickup truck when he hydroplaned and slid into the southbound lanes of the highway. He struck an oncoming 2016 Toyota SUV, driven by Rich.
Rich and his passenger, Hicks, were transported to CHI St. Luke’s Health Memorial Hospital in Lufkin, Texas for treatment.
Allen was taken to Woodland Heights Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
An investigation is ongoing.
