Commentary
Hydroplaning was cited as a factor for this fatal collision. This area has experienced a great deal of rain recently, making road conditions potentially dangerous at normal speed. It’s important for drivers to understand that speed limits are set for optimal driving conditions, and all drivers owe a legal duty to “drive to conditions” in order to prevent an unnecessary accident.
To those affected by this tragic crash, we would like to extend our condolences.
