DALLAS, TX (11/24/2016) — A car accident on Thanksgiving Day left 12-year-old Jayden-Faith Fraser in a medically-induced coma.
Police reported that the Fraser family was returning home on Thursday after feeding the homeless with People’s Missionary Baptist Church when their SUV was violently struck from behind.
According to reports, the family says the accident occurred as they were merging from I-35E onto the Dallas North Tollway
“It just felt like a bomb went off in our car, like a massive explosion and chaos,” said Jayden-Faith’s father.
Jayden-Faith Fraser is currently at Children’s Medical Center in a medically-induced coma. Her father—Jason Fraser—suffered a concussion following the crash that knocked him out for three days.
At this time, officials have not publicly released information regarding the driver who caused this accident, or if criminal charges have/will be been filed. An investigation is ongoing.
