LAREDO, TX (11/28/2016) — A motorcycle accident on Monday night claimed the life of motorcyclist Alvaro Garza Jr.

According to authorities 27-year-old Alvaro Garza Jr. was killed in a motorcycle accident that occurred at the intersection of McPherson Road and Taylor Street in Laredo, Texas.
Police reported that Garza was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle when the female driver of a green Lexus struck his bike while passing through the intersection. He was airlifted to hospital in San Antonio, where he passed the following day.
The driver was cited for failure to yield right-of-way, and an accident investigation is currently underway.
