COLLEYVILLE, TX (12/15/2016) — An accident involving a Tarrant County asphalt roller claimed the life of Brandon Heep on Thursday.

Police identified 30-year-old Brandon Heep (of Saginaw) as the victim of a construction accident that happened in the 500 block of Cheek-Sparger Road in Colleyville, Texas.
According to Tarrant County spokesman Marc Flake, at around 11:30 a.m., a Tarrant County asphalt roller ran over Heep, a contractor for the City of Colleyville. He was responsive while being taken to Baylor Scott and White Medical Center for treatment, but unfortunately passed away later that night.
“Unfortunately, the employee for the contractor succumbed to his injuries Thursday night,” Flake said. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the deceased.”
An investigation is underway.
