Commentary
This preventable accident is one of the main reasons why we share these news stories. As advocates against drinking and driving, when an innocent young man loses his life at the hands of an intoxicated driver, we want people to know about it. Behaviors do not change overnight, but as a community, we must bring awareness to the issue of drunk driving. Drivers need to understand how prevalent the problem is in Texas, and that it is everyone’s responsibility to do everything they can to prevent drunk drivers from getting behind the wheel.
We would like to extend our deepest condolences to those affected by this accident.
