SAN ANGELO, TX (02/17/2016) — A two-vehicle car accident has left Aaron Nitsch injured, and claimed the life of Adrian Hernandez early Wednesday evening.
According to the San Angelo Police Department (SAPD), a high-speed car accident that occurred in the 3400 block of Arden Road in San Angelo, Texas, killed 28-year-old Adrian Hernandez and injured 27-year-old Aaron Nitsch.
Authorities reported that at around 7:20 p.m., the 15-year-old male driver of a 1992 Dodge Diesel pickup truck was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck the driver-side door of a 1992 Honda Accord (driven by Hernandez) as the vehicle was attempting to turn onto Arden Road from Oxford Street.
Hernandez was transported to Shannon Medical Center where he underwent emergency surgery. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Hernandez’s passenger, Aaron Nitsch, suffer non-incapacitating injuries and was later released.
The two occupants of the Dodge pickup truck were also treated for various injuries. Their identities have not yet been released.
An investigation is underway, and charges may be filed pending the results of the investigation.
