GARDEN CITY, TX (10/02/2015) — Agustin R. Velazquez’s was left injured after a wrong way driver collided with his pickup truck early Friday morning.
According to authorities, 57-year-old Agustin R. Velazquez was injured and 40-year-old Jack Michael Riley died following a wrong way car accident on Friday morning along Highway 137 in Garden City, Texas.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers stated that at around 7:30 a.m., Riley was traveling northbound in a 2008 GMC Sierra when he crossed into the southbound lanes and struck a 2010 Ford pickup truck, driven by Velazquez.
Riley was transported to Stanton Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
According to DPS Troopers, Velazquez was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he has been listed in stable condition.
