TYLER, TX (11/18/2015) — A wrong way driver caused a head-on collision on Wednesday afternoon that left Anastasia Hilliard in critical condition.
According to authorities, 45-year-old Anastasia Hilliard remains in critical condition after a two-vehicle car accident at the intersection of Loop 323 and Robertson Road in Tyler, Texas.
Police reported that at around 12:00 p.m., a 1998 pickup truck traveling southbound—driven by 26-year-old Jesus Gonzalez—crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a northbound 2012 Chevrolet Captiva, driven by Hilliard.
Hilliard was hospitalized and was listed in a critical condition as of Wednesday.
Gonzalez and his passenger, 26-year-old Rodolfo Mendoza, were both taken to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
An investigation is ongoing.
