GRAND PRAIRIE, TX (11/18/2016) — A Friday afternoon accident claimed the life of Anayeli Gonzalez and left one other person in critical condition.
According to police, 18-year-old Anayeli Gonzalez (of Grand Prairie) was killed in a single-vehicle accident that occurred in the 2000 block of Dalworth Street in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Authorities reported that at around 1:00 p.m., 20-year-old Norman Vega (of Arlington) was traveling westbound when his vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a tree.
Gonzalez was transported to Methodist Dallas Medical Center, where she later died. Vega as taken to the same hospital in critical condition.
This accident remains under investigation.
