FORT WORTH, TX (05/29/2015) — 66-year-old Annette Stevens was killed and two others were critically injured in a one-vehicle accident on Friday evening near I-30 in Fort Worth, Texas.
According to police, 66-year-old Annette Stevens, of Haltom City, was killed in a one-vehicle crash just south of Interstate 30 (2400 Beach St at Lancaster Avenue) in Fort Worth, Texas on Friday evening around 6:45 p.m.
Witnesses state that the driver of the vehicle—who has not been identified yet—sped through the intersection of Beach Street and Lancaster Avenue; the driver lost control and crashed, claiming the life of passenger Annette Stevens and critically injuring another passenger.
According to the medical examiner’s office, an autopsy showed that Stevens died at the scene from blunt force trauma to the head.
The driver of the vehicle was also seriously injured, however, her condition was unknown on Sunday, authorities report. Police are still investigating this fatal accident.
