Arlington, Texas — Stacie Brown (a DWI Enforcement officer) and one other driver have been hospitalized following an early Saturday morning (11/02/2013) car accident in Arlington.
According to reports, Arlington police officer Stacie Brown was traveling northbound on Matlock Road behind another police vehicle (which was transporting a prisoner to the jail) at about 4:00 a.m. early Saturday morning when a female driver ran a red light and struck Brown’s car. The collision occurred at the intersection of Pioneer Parkway and Matlock Road.
Police say officer Stacie Brown was sore but conscious after the accident, and had to be extracted using the Jaws of Life. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the 2nd vehicle was not intoxicated, and was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
