Fatal Car accident west of Seminole, TX kills one and seriously injures another.
According to the Texas DPS, troopers responded to a call of an accident on U.S. 62 west of Seminole at 5 p.m. on Saturday. When they arrived on the scene, they discovered a car wreck involving a Chevrolet Captiva, driven by 63-year-old Nicholas Villalobos of Lovington, NM and a GMC Yukon driven by 25-year-old Juan G. Fernandez of Seminole.
The investigation revealed that the driver of the Captiva and the Yukon were both driving west on U.S. Highway 62 when the Captiva slowed to make a left turn. The Yukon collided with the Captiva killing passenger, Belinda Villalobos. Nicholas Villalobos sustained serious injuries and was transported to University Medical Center Hospital in Lubbock.
Fernandez was not injured in the accident.
Road conditions were wet at the time of the car accident.
