DALLAS, TX (12/26/2014) — An early Friday morning car accident has claimed the lives of Robert Nicholl White and Betty Nicholl White, and left four others injured.
According to reports, the chain-reaction three-car accident happened at around 2:30 a.m. on westbound Interstate 30 near Dalrock Road (along the border between Dallas and Garland near Lake Ray Hubbard). All three vehicles were traveling westbound when the accident occurred. Additional details of the collision were not made available.
The victims were reported as 61-year-old Robert Nicholl White and Betty Nicholl White (who is approximately 85-90 years old). A man and three young women also sufferred non-life-thretening injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
The accident shut down multiple lanes on I-30 until 7:00 a.m. Investigators have said that they do not believe alcohol played a factor in the car accident.
This is the second fatal accident in this area in five days. Two people were killed in another accident on I-30 near Lake Ray Hubbard on 12/22/2014.
