VALLEY VIEW, TX (06/22/2017) — One person is dead and another has been hospitalized following a head-on car accident on Farm-to-Market Road 3002 Thursday evening.
According to reports, 26-year-old Steven Ingram (of Valley View) was driving a 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac pickup truck eastbound on FM 3002 (E. Lone Oak Road) when Ingram allegedly crossed the center yellow line and collided head-on with a westbound 2014 Chevy Silverado pickup truck at around 6:51 p.m. on Thursday.
The driver of the Silverado, 59-year-old Bonnie Slack (of Double Oak), was pronounced deceased at the scene by Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Olivia Neu. Her husband and only passenger, David Slack, was reportedly uninjured. The driver of the Ford pickup truck, Steven Ingram, was transported to a hospital in Denton in unknown condition.
