BRECKENRIDGE, TX (06/26/2015) — Allen Ray Corgill, 51, and Jackey Demaree Corgill, 53, were both killed in a wrong way motorcycle crash.
According to the Department of Public Safety (DPS), Allen Ray Corgill, 51, and Jackey Demaree Corgill, 53 (both of Cisco, Texas), both died after a car struck their motorcycle Friday night in Breckenridge, Texas at about 10:35 p.m.
Initial investigation reports stated that a car was traveling eastbound on U.S. 180 (W. Walker Street) when it veered into the right hand shoulder and then overcorrected left into westbound traffic. The vehicle struck the motorcycle and ejected both Allen and Jackey Corgill. The two were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The car that caused the accident was driven by 24-year-old Shayna Marie Burrus. Barrus and her passenger, 19-year-old Justin Kodi Arp, were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a nearby hospital and released.
This DPS continues to investigate the cause of this accident.
