DEL RIO, TX (10/08/2015) — One man has been arrested for the deaths of Christopher Campbell and Tiffany Ann Kolaya after a motorcycle wreck on Tuesday morning.
According to authorities, Christopher Campbell, 35, and Tiffany Ann Kolaya, 34, were both killed on Tuesday following an early morning car accident involving a motorcycle.
Police report that the wreck occurred along Highway 90 in Del Rio, Texas.
Del Rio Police Department Capt. Fred Knoll Jr. stated that Campbell and Kolaya lost their lives after a car struck the motorcycle they were traveling on.
The man who was responsible for the collision has since been arrested.
Commentary
Motorcyclists are 35 percent more likely to experience a fatal accident than those in passenger cars. Did the other driver cross into oncoming traffic? Did the driver responsible simply not notice the motorcycle before it was too late? Either scenario is possible, however, we will not know the exact cause of this crash until a full investigation is complete.
