SAN ANGELO, TX (10/20/2015) — A wrong way accident claimed the lives of two teenage boys last Tuesday morning: Cesar Castillo and Noah Whitaker.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) have identified 17-year-old Noah Whitaker and 19-year-old Cesar Castillo as the victims of a Tuesday morning head-on car accident along FM 2288 in San Angelo, Texas.
According to DPS, shortly after 7:00 a.m., Whitaker was traveling southbound in a 1999 Ford F-150 when he crossed into northbound traffic and collided with Castillo’s 1999 Chevrolet Silverado.
Both teenagers were pronounced dead at the scene.
“It is with great sadness that SAISD extends deepest sympathy to the families of Noah Whitaker, a senior at Central High School, and Cesar Castillo, a 2015 graduate of Central High School, who lost their lives in a traffic accident earlier today,” said a statement from the San Angelo Independent School District.
Police are still trying to determine what caused Whitaker to drift from his lane of traffic.
