WEATHERFORD, TX (02/29/2016) — A head-on accident, involving an 18-wheeler, killed Christopher Thompson and Richard Castleschouldt on Monday afternoon.
Authorities have identified 27-year-old Christopher Allen Thompson (of Mineral Wells) and 26-year-old Richard Earl Castleschouldt (of Weatherford) as the two victims of a car-vs-truck accident on Texas 171 in Weatherford, Texas.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), at around 12:10 p.m., a 2013 Toyota Rav4—driven by Castleschouldt—was traveling northbound on Texas 171 when it reportedly crossed the center line and struck a 2015 Mack truck head-on.
Both Castleschouldt and his passenger, Christopher Thompson, lost their lives in the accident. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured in the crash.
