TYLER, TX (07/17/2015) — A two-vehicle accident involving a City of Tyler garbage truck claimed the life of 20-year-old Brodi Marsh on Friday morning.
Authorities have confirmed that Brodi Marsh, 20, was killed, and Jennifer Heard, 36, was injured, following a two-vehicle crash in the 3500 block of FM 2767 at FM 850 (near Loop 323) in Tyler, Texas.
A preliminary report from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) indicated that shortly before 7:30 a.m. a passenger car traveling westbound on FM 2767 attempted to take a left onto FM 850. The report states that the car turned into the path of an eastbound City of Tyler garbage truck.
The driver of the car, Jennifer Heard, was transported to a nearby area hospital for treatment. Her passenger, Brodi Marsh, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
