SAN ANTONIO, TX (07/19/2015) — A single vehicle crash critically injured 34-year-old Nathan Mullinax and killed 39-year-old Jack Dempsey Hale on Sunday.
San Antonio police have confirmed that 34-year old Nathan Mullinax was critically injured in a single vehicle crash that occurred on Sunday morning in the 16400 block of Blanco Road near Mission Ridge in San Antonio, Texas.
According to officials, just before 8:00 a.m. a GMC traveling at a high rate of speed failed to turn at a curve in the road, causing the vehicle to go off the roadway, hit a tree, and rollover.
Mullinax was a passenger in the vehicle and was transported to University Hospital in critical condition.
The driver, who has been identified as 39-year-old Jack Dempsey Hale, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Foxsanantonio.com, police believe alcohol and speed were factors that caused this fatal wreck, though this has not been confirmed.
