DALLAS, TX (10/10/2016) — Three people were killed and one was injured after a West Dallas car wreck on Monday night.
According to police, 20-year-old Richard Cruz, 24-year-old Santos Mendoza, and 17-year-old Frank Palemo were killed, and 20-year-old Miguel Cervantes sustained injuries following a rollover car accident in the 3200 block of Norwich Street (near Nomas Street) in Dallas, Texas.
Authorities reported that at around 7:00 p.m., Palemo was traveling at a high rate of speed in a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe when he hit a dip in the road, went airborne, and struck an unoccupied 2015 Ford Super Duty pickup truck.
Santos Mendoza, sitting in the right rear passenger seat, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Frank Palemo and Richard Cruz (the left rear passenger) died from their injuries en route to the hospital. His third passenger, Miguel Cervantes suffered injuries and was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital for treatment.
This accident remains under investigation.
