DALLAS, TX (09/05/2015) — Raquel Vizcarra, Maria Morales, Mirna Vizcarra, and Maria Rodriguez-De-Vizcarra were identified as the victim’s from the fatal Saturday night car accident.
According to authorities, a two-vehicle car wreck at the intersection of Webb Chapel Road and Park Lane in Dallas, Texas on Saturday night claimed the lives of four women:
- Raquel Vizcarra, 38;
- Maria Morales, 55;
- Mirna Vizcarra, 42;
- Maria Rodriguez-De-Vizcarra, 65.
Officers report that at around 9:30 p.m., 19-year-old Jose Lule—along with three passengers—was traveling northbound on Webb Chapel Road in a pickup truck when he collided with the passenger’s side of the victims’ vehicle. The impact pushed the the car into a utility pole.
Police state that this accident did not appear to be alcohol-related.
“It was horrific,” said Linus Spiller, a nearby resident who rushed to the scene to offer help. “The two cars were so crunched they looked like one car.”
The four female occupants all died in the wreckage. They were related and attended a Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, located near where the crash occurred.
According to police, Lule and his passengers all tried to flee the scene, but were later caught.
Senior Cpl. Monica Cordova stated on Monday that Lule, along with his three passengers, will each be charged with failure to stop and render aid.
