RICHLAND, TX (07/22/2015) — A fatal head-on crash claimed the life of 63-year-old David Albert McVay on Wednesday afternoon.
According to authorities, 63-year-old David Albert McVay, of Waxahachie, died Wednesday afternoon following a two-vehicle accident on State Highway 14 in Navarro County (just south of Richland), Texas.
It was reported that at around 2:00 p.m., a northbound 2015 Isuzu truck crossed Highway 14 into southbound traffic at a curve in the highway. The Isuzu box truck crashed into McVay’s southbound gray Toyota Tundra head-on.
McVay was pronounced dead at the scene.
Michael Asebedo, 26, was the driver of the Isuzu truck. He was transported to Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana, Texas with non-life-threatening injuries.
