NORTHLAKE, TX (10/09/2016) — A drunk driving-related accident claimed the life of Dawn Blume on Sunday morning.
Authorities have identified 48-year-old Dawn Blume as the victim of a fatal accident that occurred at the intersection of Texas 114 and Interstate 35 in Northlake, Texas.
Police reported that at around 3:00 a.m., a suspected drunk driver named Rayshune Demone Russell ran a red light and struck Blume’s vehicle on the driver’s side.
Blume did not survive the crash.
Russell was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter. An investigation is ongoing.
