As WFAA reports, FM 720 is considered a “vital link for drivers traveling between Frisco, The Colony and Little Elm.” Unfortunately, as part of TXDOT’s reconstruction plan, it will be shut down for upwards of two weeks during construction. Even though the finished product will improve the lives of everyone around, those few weeks where 720 is out of commission are likely to cause huge headaches for Dallas commuters.
Traffic is being re-routed down Eldorado – an already congested street. The traffic jams are likely to cause delays as long as two hours for commuters.
Many of Jeff Rasansky’s staff members live in the Collin and Denton County areas – so congested commutes is definitely on his mind. Jeff encourages his people to give extra time for driving when known construction will be encountered – the more time you have to get where you are going, the less pressure you feel while driving, the more relaxed and safer you drive. The Rasansky Law Firm knows that many Dallas car accidents occur because vehicle operators are rushing and anxious to get where they are going – factors that cause them to ignore safe driving practices.
Buckle down, Denton County residents. The next few weeks are going to be rough on your commute. But drive safely, keep your cool, and everything will be fine.
