SHERMAN, TX (06/29/2015) — Grayson County Sheriff’s Deputy, Isaac Bates, was hospitalized after he collided with a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Tammy Vazquez.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), Grayson County Sheriff’s Deputy Isaac Bates was sent to hospital on Monday after a two-vehicle collision on Houston Street at Grand Avenue in Sherman, Texas.
Reportedly, Bates was traveling westbound on Houston Street when he collided with a vehicle—driven by Tammy Vazquez, 34—traveling southbound on Grand Avenue at about 5:30 p.m.
Bates was transported to the Texoma Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries; Vazquez was not injured in the wreckage.
The cause of this accident remains under investigation.
