KILLEEN, TX (05/21/2016) — A Saturday morning accident killed Dian Glee, and left three others injured.
Authorities have identified 35-year-old Dian Glee, of Killeen, as the victim of a fatal head-on collision that occurred along Highway 195 in Killeen, Texas.
Police reported that at around 5:45 a.m., Glee was carpooling with her coworkers to a nursing home in Georgetown when a 2013 Dodge Avenger struck their 2016 Dodge Charger head-on.
The two other occupants of the Charger—47-year-old Venus Weatherton and 36-year-old Tiffany Prelow—were taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The 28-year-old male driver of the Avenger was transported to Seton Medical Center Williamson with critical injuries.
“I really do miss my mom. I want everybody to know that she was a very, truly amazing person. Everyone is going to remember my mom as the strongest person in the family,” said Dian’s 21-year-old son Tarvarus Glee.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Spokesperson Trooper D.L. Wilson, the driver of the Avenger was traveling northbound and crossed into the southbound lanes when the incident happened.
This wreck remains under investigation.
