There was a fatal car accident on Saturday afternoon around four-thirty on Hulen Street and Briarhaven Road in Fort Worth. A Jeep ran the red light at the intersection and hit the side of a Toyota Camry. The driver of the Camry was identified as 51-year-old James Gibson. According to WFAA, Gibson was pronounced dead less than 15 minutes after the accident occurred. Gibson was reported to be from Augusta, Georgia. No other information about him has been released at this time. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.
Officer Cliff Miller gave a general idea of the accident, but no other specific causes were mentioned. The accident is still under investigation. No other injuries were reported in the accident.
