ARLINGTON, TX (9/5/2014) — Five BWW patrons have been injured after a drunken driver crashed into the outdoor patio of a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant Friday night.
The accident happened at around 11:00 p.m. on Friday night at the Collins Street location, as the restaurant was packed with customers. According to reports, the driver (21-year-old Alexas Rios) lost control of his pickup truck, hit another vehicle, and continued on to the sidewalk and into the restaurant patio.
At least five patrons who were seated in the patio suffered minor injuries, and three needed to be treated at an area hospital.
The driver was arrested at the scene of the crash for DWI. A passenger in the pickup truck was also arrested for public intoxication.
