HOUSTON, TX (09/01/2015) — An alleged drunk driver is facing charges after a four-vehicle accident which claimed the lives of Vincente DeLeon and Reyualdo Landin on Monday night.
According to authorities, a multi-vehicle accident caused by a drunk driver in the 16200 block of Clay Road on Monday night claimed the lives of two men: Vincente DeLeon and Reyualdo Landin.
Jason Dixon was reportedly traveling eastbound along Clay Road in a gray 2009 Kia Sedona when he ran a red light at the Highway 6 intersection and collided with a southbound, tan-colored 2008 Ford E35. The Ford then spun through the intersection and struck a northbound white Toyota Rav-4.
According to Harris County sheriff’s deputies, the Ford also hit a fourth vehicle—a northbound Jeep.
The two occupants of the Ford, Vincente DeLeon and Reyualdo Landin, were both ejected from their vehicle. DeLeon died at the scene; Landin was transported to a nearby area hospital, where he later died.
Deputies stated that Dixon showed signs of impairment and was arrested. He has been charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter.
This fatal car accident remains under investigation.
