FORT WORTH, TX (12/21/2015) — A three-car accident on I-35W Monday evening killed Gabrielle Estelle and Alexander Trejo, and injured four others.
Authorities have identified 19-year-old Gabrielle Estelle and 23-year-old Alexander Trejo as the victims of fatal, multi-vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of Interstate 35W and Heritage Trace Parkway in Fort Worth, Texas.
According to Fort Worth police spokeswoman Tamara Pena, Estelle and Trejo were both occupants of a Ford Fusion that was rear-ended by a Ford Explorer along I-35W at around 8:45 p.m. Their parents were reportedly also riding in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
The initial impact caused the Fusion to crash into a concrete center wall, and the Ford Explorer crashed into a second vehicle.
Matt Zavadsky, a MedStar spokesman, reported that four other adults were injured and taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
This fatal accident remains under investigation.
