Fort Worth, Texas — Five children were injured after a Tuesday morning (11/12/2013) accident when a school bus was rear-ended by charter bus on North Freeway/ I-35W.
The Lewisville Independent School District (LISD) school bus was carrying 38 students when the bus was struck at 10:30 a.m. Lewisville school officials said that the students were on a field trip to the Fort Worth Stockyards. The charter bus was carrying no passengers.
Authorities said the five injured students were transported to Cook Children’s Medical Center with minor injuries.
