TYLER, TX (05/14/2016) — Haile Beasley was killed by a wrong way driver who crashed head-on into her vehicle on Saturday night.
According to authorities, 21-year-old Haile Beasley died in a two-vehicle accident that occurred in the 1400 block of W. Grande Boulevard in Tyler, Texas.
Tyler police reported that at around 9:40 p.m., James Fulton, the driver of a white Dodge Ram, was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of Grande Boulevard when he collided head-on with Beasley’s Ford Focus.
Beasley lost her life at the scene of the crash.
Police say Fulton was found at-fault for the car accident.
Commentary
Although police are unsure as to why Fulton was traveling the wrong way down Grande, he could face criminal charges of vehicular manslaughter (in addition to any civil claims brought by the victim’s family) depending upon what the investigation reveals. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
