BUDA, TX (07/25/2015) — Two people have died following a head-on crash on Highway 183 Saturday evening.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS, a fatal head-on crash Saturday evening in the 10500 block of Highway 183 (near the toll interchange at Highway 45 and Highway 130) has claimed the life of Seth Sanchez-Torres, 39.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) stated that shortly before 5:30 p.m., Domingo Barrientos-Diaz, 22, was traveling northbound in a 2001 Ford Mustang when he passed a car in a no-passing lane. He then struck a southbound 2003 Nissan Frontier, driven by Sanchez-Torres.
According to reports, Barrientos-Diaz died from his injuries before emergency crews arrived at the scene.
The DPS confirmed that Seth Sanchez-Torres was transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge via STAR Flight, where later died.
