BONHAM, TX (07/06/2015) — Rae Turrentine was killed, and George Carruth has been critically injured following a head-on accident on Highway 78.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), 69-year-old George Carruth was critically injured after his pickup truck was struck head-on on Highway 78 at County Road 3115 in Bonham, Texas on Monday afternoon.
Texas DPS troopers stated that at around 1:30 p.m., an SUV driven by 69-year-old Rae Turrentine crossed the center line on Highway 78 and struck Carruth’s vehicle.
Turrentine died at the scene. Carruth was transported via ambulance to Red River Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
