DALLAS, TX (05/03/2015) — A minor fender bender at Royal Lane and Harry Hines quickly turned deadly after a driver fled the scene, causing a second accident.
According to reports, the driver of a white Chevy Tahoe collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Royal Lane and Harry Hines Blvd. However, rather than stopping to assess the situation, the driver continued to speed through the red light. This lead to a secondary crash with another vehicle; the car then flipped and slammed into a nearby pole.
The driver who caused the hit and run accident died on the scene. One of the victims who was hit by the Tahoe was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital to treat minor injuries. This accident is currently pending investigation.
