Commentary
While this wreck is currently being investigated, we would like to touch on the topic of wrong way accidents. The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) found that in 2014, there were approximately 50% more accidents involving wrong way driving than in the previous 4 years. These accidents also resulted in the most incapacitating injuries and deaths. What does this mean to drivers? It proves that being 100% aware of your surroundings at all times is absolutely crucial. In a matter of seconds, your carefree drive could turn tragic.
