Fort Worth, Texas — 43-year-old Jose Munoz was killed in an early-morning rollover accident on Boat Club Road in Fort Worth on Sunday (10/27/2013). Police say the 43-year-old victim had struck a guardrail at around 3:30 a.m. and rolled his 2013 Jeep Wrangler into the grass.
A passing motorist noticed and reported the wreck by phone to police, but did not remain on the scene. Eagle Mountain Fire and EMS responded to the scene, extradited the driver, but Mr. Munoz was pronounced dead at the scene.
As an attorney who has dealt with countless rollover accidents, I feel like people should know that rollover accidents can be more complex when it comes to liability, as a vehicle’s structural integrity and other product liability issues will come into play. Honestly, if you know someone who is injured or has been killed in a rollover accident, it is important for the victim or their family discuss potential issues of liability and compensation with an attorney. It costs nothing to do so, and it may help the victim (or their family) recover the compensation needed to recover.
