LOCKHART, TX (01/11/2017) — Lauren Garcia and Isaac Garcia both lost their lives on Wednesday following a head-on collision.
Lauren Garcia, 18; Isaac Garcia, 21
The Texas Department of Public Safety identified 18-year-old Lauren Garcia and 21-year-old Isaac Garcia (boyfriend and girlfriend) as the victims of a fatal wreck that happened on FM 672, near Dry Creek Road, in Lockhart, Texas.
The DPS reported that shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 19-year-old Santiago Guadarrama Avila was traveling westbound in a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado when he crossed into the eastbound lane of traffic near a curve in the road and collided with a 1994 Ford Ranger—occupied by Lauren and Isaac Garcia—head-on.
Both Lauren Garcia and Isaac Garcia were pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. Avila and his passenger, 18-year-old Fernando Adame, were taken to St. David’s Hospital.
