MCALLEN, TX (01/05/2016) — Police continue to investigate a fatal two-vehicle car accident that claimed the life of Marcelo Flores on Tuesday night.
Authorities have identified 20-year-old Marcelo Flores as the victim of a suspected head-on collision that occurred at the intersection of 10th Street and Sprague Road in McAllen, Texas.
Police Lt. Joel Morales reported that around 10:30 p.m., a two-vehicle accident, involving a passenger vehicle and a truck, claimed the life of Flores.
According to KGBT News, Flores’ family says that he was killed after the vehicle he was traveling in was struck by a truck head on. At this time, it is unclear whether Flores was a driver or passenger.
Two other people were also injured, and are currently hospitalized in serious condition.
Police are investigating this fatal accident to determine the what lead to the crash.
