AUSTIN, TX (08/16/2015) – 26-year-old Natalie Renee Dailey was killed, and another person was injured, following a car-vs-motorcycle crash on Sunday.
According to police, 26-year-old Natalie Dailey was killed in a motorcycle accident on Sunday that occurred at the intersection of 15th Street and Red River Street in Austin, Texas.
Austin police stated that a Buick LaCrosse was traveling westbound on 15th Street, about to make a left turn onto Red River Street. However, the Buick failed to yield right of way to a Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling eastbound on 15th Street and the two vehicles collided.
Both the driver of the motorcycle and the passenger, Dailey, were transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge.
The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries, but Dailey was pronounced deceased soon after arrival.
According to reports, Natalie Dailey was a resident teacher at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. She was extremely involved in the First Baptist Church of Austin’s children’s programs, and made a huge impact during her time at Child Protective Services.
Austin police are currently investigating this fatal crash.
