SAN ANTONIO, TX (12/30/2015) — Norma Kay lost her life on Tuesday after a wrong way driver struck her vehicle; her 16-year-old daughter was also injured in the collision.
According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), 49-year-old Norma Kay died after her vehicle was struck by oncoming vehicle along Loop 1604 (near Rockport Road) in San Antonio, Texas.
The BCSO stated that around 3:00 a.m., a 19-year-old man traveling southbound in Chevrolet Tahoe veered into northbound traffic and struck a northbound Chevrolet Camaro.
The driver of the Camaro, Norma Kay, died in the accident. Her 16-year-old daughter was transported to University Hospital for treatment of injuries.
BCSO deputies reported that the unidentified male driver of the Tahoe was ejected from his vehicle, which rolled over as a result of the collision. He suffered critical injuries, however, his current condition is unknown.
Authorities are investigating this fatal car accident.
