FORT WORTH, TX (05/12/2014) — One person has been hospitalized following an accident between a pickup truck and a school bus early Monday morning.
The accident occurred at around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Hemphill Street and Sycamore School Road in Fort Worth, Texas. According to Fort Worth police, the driver of the loaded school bus (Crowley school district) failed to yield right of way at the intersection causing the driver of a Ford F-150 to skid into the bus.
The driver of the F-150 was transported to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth with minor injuries. According to MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky, none of the 23 children and adults on the school bus were injured.
