DALLAS, TX (11/1/2014) — Emmanuel Gonzalez was arrested after an early-Saturday-morning car accident which left Ivette Velazquez dead, and another injured.

According to reports, a one vehicle accident was reported at around 2:25 a.m. in the 10900 block of Webb Chapel Road in Dallas, Texas. 20-year-old Emmanuel Gonzalez was allegedly driving an Infiniti G37 sedan at a high rate of speed, when he lost control and crashed into a utility pole in the median of Webb Chapel Road.
18-year-old passenger Ivette Velazquez was killed at the scene of the accident and a 19-year-old passenger was injured (broken ribs and a broken pelvis) and transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital. He is currently in good condition. Gonzalez and the other front seat passenger were reportedly uninjured.
Emmanuel Gonzalez’ preliminary breath test showed a 0.09 BAC, and he was subsequently arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault. He has since been released after posting $50,000 bail.
