DALLAS, TX (06/10/2015) — A single vehicle crash along I-35E near South Marsalis Avenue left one person dead and sent one person to the hospital on Wednesday.
According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s deputies, a single vehicle accident on Interstate 35E Wednesday morning claimed the life of one person, and sent another to the hospital.
Witnesses state that a car was traveling northbound on I-35E when it veered off the highway and struck a pole behind the guardrail near South Marsalis Avenue.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office stated that two people were in the vehicle; the passenger died at the scene and the driver was taken to a nearby hospital.
The identities of the victims have not been released yet, however, authorities are scheduled to speak with the driver soon to obtain more details.
