A young man from Euless, TX died Sunday when he was hit by two cars while crossing Interstate 20.
24-year-old Dustin Troupe was attempting to sprint across I-20 when he was struck by a driver entering the freeway at Matlock. The driver, who immediately called the police, reported she was unable to avoid hitting him when he appeared in her headlights. After being struck by the first vehicle, Troupe was hit by a second and died at the scene.
An initial investigation indicated drugs or alcohol were not a factor in either driver’s striking Troupe.
