Dallas, Texas — It started just before 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday night (10/02/2013). Two suspects led Dallas County Sheriff’s deputies and Texas State troopers on a wild ride after committing a theft at an Ellis County Walmart store.
During the police chase (which stretched from Ennis to Dallas, Texas), the driver of the fleeing vehicle injured multiple motorists in at least 3 separate car accidents. While the extent of the injuries are unreported, they are said to be non-life-threatening.
The chase finally came to a stop just before 9:00 p.m. when the drive exited to Jim Miller Road from US Highway 175. Inside the car police found three children all under 4 years old. The children are now in state custody. The driver and one other passenger were arrested on charges of theft, evading arrest, child endangerment, and possession of a controlled substance.
