35-year-old Pramod Paul lost his life in a 3-vehicle accident on I-635 (LBJ Freeway) Thursday morning, October 10th, 2013. The accident occurred on the westbound lanes of LBJ just west of the Dallas North Tollway.
Police and witnesses said that the accident began at around 2:45 a.m. when two motorists got into a minor accident. Both Pramod Paul and the other driver had exited their cars when a 3rd vehicle crashed into one of the vehicles at a high rate of speed. One man was able to jump out of the way, but Mr. Paul was pinned between the 2 vehicles and killed instantly. A Dodge Ram pickup truck was involved, but it is unclear what role the vehicle played.
Dallas police have charged the 3rd driver, 38-year-old Jerry Abraham, with intoxication manslaughter.
