HONEY GROVE, TX (03/06/2016) — A head-on accident in Fannin County on Sunday has claimed the lives of Rachel and Tyler Roberts, and left three others injured.
According to authorities, Rachel Lynn Roberts and 8-year-old Tyler Roberts (both of Windom) were killed following a head-on collision along Highway 56 in Honey Grove, Texas.
Authorities stated that as Rachel Roberts was traveling westbound on TX-56 at around 9:00 p.m., an eastbound pickup truck—driven by 32-year-old Billy Bayse—crossed the center median and struck Roberts’ vehicle head-on.
Rachel and Tyler Roberts were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The two other occupants of Roberts’ vehicle, 55-year-old Patty Medcalf, and 18-year-old Dominque Larson (also of Windom), and Bayse, were taken to Paris Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries.
